Y’all, I’m not usually one to get all heated over a kiss in a book, but that first kiss when they both finally gave in was just awesome!

I don’t enjoy heavy topics with my romance but when the story is so well written and the themes so thoughtfully explored, I want to thank the author wholeheartedly. Sending you to school with pre-portioned celery and peanut butter snacks, carefully measured and only to be eaten at the prescribed time. Years later, while Ava was attending Camden prep, she had seemingly joined the inner circle of the popular crowd.I think I would have liked to see that element play out a little more – maybe a few more random notes left in her locker to add intrigue to that element of the story. Sigh* The way they couldn’t take their eyes off each other and were so thirsty for every scrap of knowledge to fill in the gaps.

Plus, with all the gestures that Knox did for Ava, I mean come on, it was both romantic and heartfelt that spoke volumes about how much Ava meant to him.

Knox had this scar on his face and when I read about it for the first time I wanted to adorn his face with little kisses over that scar and the first thing Ava did when he got with Knox was kiss him exactly there 🥺🥺 I Can't.
